Hybrid and off-grid systems

If the goal is maximum self-consumption or a blackout-proof home, a hybrid system is the answer. If there is no grid – off-grid.

Hybrid systems

A hybrid inverter distributes energy between the panels, the battery and the grid so that as little as possible has to be bought. Under gross metering it is the only way to use daytime production in the evening.

  • Huawei SUN2000 L1/M1 + LUNA2000, Deye hybrid 5–12 kW, SOFAR HYD 6–20 kW, Solis S6, Fronius GEN24
  • 5–15 kWh LFP batteries, modular expansion
  • Backup mode: dedicated circuits keep running during outages
  • AC-coupled storage retrofits for existing systems

Off-grid systems

For holiday homes, farms and sites where a grid connection is unavailable or expensive. Sizing is done for the worst winter week, not the annual average, with generator backup and automatic transfer.

Grant

The 2026 residential battery grant (up to HUF 2.5M) applies precisely to these systems. We design grant-compliant systems and handle the paperwork.

Frequently asked questions

What battery size do I need?

Typically 5–10 kWh for a family home; we size from the evening/night consumption, not from the roof area.

Does it work during a blackout?

With the backup function, yes – designated circuits (fridge, lighting, boiler, internet) continue to run from the battery.

We look at the roof, the consumption and the tariff scheme – then tell you what makes sense and what does not. No obligation.
