Terms and Conditions

Effective from 1 January 2026.

1. Provider

SolarBay Kft. (seat: 2040 Budaörs, Kecskekő utca 11.; company reg. no.: 01-09-000000; VAT no.: 32939833-2-13; e-mail: hello@solarbay.hu; phone: +36 30 525 6956), hereinafter: Provider.

2. Subject

Sale of the products offered in the solarbay.hu online shop and – under separate agreement – design and installation of solar, storage, heat pump and EV charging systems.

3. Orders

An order placed in the shop constitutes an offer. The Provider confirms the order by e-mail within 1 working day; the contract is concluded upon confirmation. Prices are in HUF and include 27% VAT. Shipping costs are stated in the confirmation.

4. Payment

Bank transfer against pro-forma invoice, cash on delivery (courier) and – once available – online card payment (SimplePay, OTP Mobil Kft.).

5. Delivery

3–10 working days for stocked items. Large items (panels, heat pump outdoor units) are delivered on pallets at an agreed time. Pick-up at our Budapest warehouse is possible.

6. Right of withdrawal

Consumers may withdraw within 14 days of receipt without giving reasons (Gov. Decree 45/2014). Withdrawal must be notified by e-mail; the product must be returned undamaged in original packaging at the buyer's cost.

7. Warranty

Manufacturer warranty and statutory warranty apply to products. We provide a 10-year workmanship warranty on installations under the conditions of the contract.

8. Complaints

Complaints: hello@solarbay.hu or by phone. Consumer disputes: Budapest Arbitration Board (1016 Budapest, Krisztina krt. 99.).

9. Other

Hungarian law applies to matters not covered here.
